Do Trade Deals & Budget Cuts Make Us Less Healthy?

ABC Radio discusses the impact that trade deals, such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), can have on our health - such as by leading to more expensive medicines, limiting our ability to introduce anti-tobacco measures, and restrict labelling on food.

On the panel include Dr Matthew Rimmer (Australian Centre for Intellectual Property in Agriculture, ANU), Dr Deborah Gleeson (School of Public Health and Human Biosciences, LaTrobe University), Professor Sharon Friel (National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health & Director of the Menzies Centre for Health Policy, ANU) and Professor David Stuckler (Department of Sociology, Oxford University, England).
