High price to pay for inequality increase

According to a new analysis by a Labor think tank, inequality in Australia is growing rapidly. The Chifley Research Centre also says that if no action is taken it could take a toll on our economy.
The paper suggests policies which improve access to quality education, help women return to work after having children, affordable healthcare and tax changes.
AFTINET would also point out that if Australia ratifies the TPP inequality in Australia is likely to increase further, since the deal increases rights for already-powerful corporations at the expense of people and will make medicines more expensive.
